Q. What is the minimum age I can apply for job at your garden centre or restaurant?
A. We feel that having youth in our employment team is very important. We would be happy to hear from anyone aged 16 or over wanting to join our growing team.

Q.What times do you serve food?
A. Breakfast 9am – 11.45am, Lunch 12pm – 4pm, Dinner from 6pm (last booking) (Available on Saturday evenings)
Q. Is it possible to view your menus online?
A. All our menus are available to view online and can be found here.
Q. How easy is your disabled access in the restaurant?
A. We have tried to make the nursery and restaurant as accessible as possible for wheelchair users. We would like to think all of our customers can access all of our departments with ease. In the restaurant, our door is automatic and we have a lift so both floors can be easily accessed.
Q. Is it possible to bring a group along to your restaurant?
A. We try our best to accommodate large groups at our restaurant. To book in a group, please telephone on 02890 484000 and ask for a member of management.

Q. What can you offer a group coming to your restaurant?
A. We try our best to accommodate all requests! The most popular choices would be afternoon tea, tea and scones, options from the lunch menu or an evening meal.

Q. Can I book a table in the restaurant?
We are a walk in restaurant during the day and booking is not required unless there are ten or more in your party.
In the evening, any party size can book. To reserve a table please call us on 02890 484000.
Q. Do I need to book a table if I want to come for afternoon tea?
A. No, we place your order once you arrive if you are in a small party. If you are a group of ten or more, please call us on 02890 484000 to reserve a table.
Q. If I bring a large group to the restaurant do I have to pay a deposit and pre order?
A. For groups of ten or more, a deposit of £5 per person is required and at Christmas time it is £10 per person. A pre order is also required two weeks prior to the booking. If any changes occur after your pre order has been received, please call us on 02890 484000 to amend it.
Q. What hours do you open at Christmas time?
A. In the restaurant we are open as normal around Christmas and also on Friday evenings for the Christmas period as well as our usual opening on Saturday evenings. CLOSED SUNDAYS with the exception of Mothers Day.
In the nursery we are open as normal and at Christmas we also open on Sundays 1pm – 5pm.
Q. Are you open on Sundays?
A. We are closed on Sundays all year round with the exception of Mother’s Day in the restaurant! Bookings are available for lunch between 12pm and 3pm or dinner between 6pm and 8.30pm on 02890 484000. The nursery opens on Sundays from 1pm-5pm for the festive period only.
Q. Do you offer a Bring Your Own Wine service?
A. Our Bring Your Own Wine service has been temporarily suspended, in line with the governments current guidelines in relation to covid passports.
Q.I would like to know the stock availability of a particular plant, what is the best way to find out?
A. Simply just contact us or telephone us on 02890 483675. We will be happy to help you.
Q.Are you able to price match items in the nursery?
A. We are always trying to be competitive with our prices and are open to price matching. Before you contact us by email or telephone. Please ensure that you have the website and company name of the store that you would like us to price match to. The item must be in stock with a reasonable lead time.
Although we aim to please our customers and try our hardest to fulfil their needs, it sometimes is simply not possible to price match certain items. For more information, please contact us on 02890 483675.
Q.Do you deliver plants?
A. This is not something we regularly do at Dundonald Nurseries, but depending on the location this may be possible at a small charge. To enquire about this, please contact us on 02890 483675.
Q.I would like to send a picture of my plant to you by email. Hopefully you can help and tell me what is wrong with it!
A. Please send all images of plants to info@dundonaldnurseries.co.uk to have your picture professionally diagnosed.

A. At Dundonald Nurseries, we are able to obtain many different species of plants. Although we may not stock a particular variety at the time of question, we may well be able to obtain it for you. Please call us on 02890 483675.
